  • Plywood Enclosure Assembly
    • A custom designed enclosure for the components is ideal.
    • So far, the design has proven to be not as portable as it is meant to be, largely due to the bulk of the computer.
  • Top Panel, Post, and Lampshade
    • This section is crucial for the sensors connected to the kiosk.
    • The camera, one-wire sensors, and infrared sensors all sit in the lampshade.
  • Velcro
    • House_n has a LOT of velcro.
    • Be prepared with variety and quantity.
  • Component Placement and Connections
    • Sitting the components down in the enclosure is not enough.
    • Be sensible when connecting components together.
    • Remember to label the connections with the labels provided as you go along. You can make your own labels if necessary.
  • Software and Troubleshooting
    • There will always be problems with computers.
    • Just follow these notes and you will find it easier to deal with potential problems.
